Why some teams are effective?

One of my hidden personal interest is investigating human relations. Right now I work in a team which is far from being effective. Ineffectivents has it's root causes on many fields, but now I don't want to mention them. I wanted to share with you a document that I came across recently. It is about factors which make teams effective.

Google has so many workers working in many groups, that they decided to do someresearch on that field. They wanted to have a formula that can tell how to make an effective team. If you want to know if they managed to do that I recommend to read this page on nytimes.com
